Book 2 begins…

I’ve finally started book 2! Following the green light from my wife to start my second book, I found that I still had to get over another obstacle. An imaginary hump in the road. The makeup of which included…’it’s too hard,’ ‘it’s not possible’ and a heavy dose of ‘what if it’s terrible?’ What was it that spurred me on to get going? No doubt it was the frequent messages from parents that I receive, passing on delight from their kids and culminating in the obvious question… ‘what’s next?’

Whilst there has been some planning in the background, yesterday was the first day when I sat down and wrote down my plot structure, the story arc and started researching interesting locations. I was left with a sense of excitement and oddly a sense of joy that comes from being reunited with old friends.
